Is your current Fire Risk Assessment suitable and sufficient?
Many organisations already have a Fire Risk Assessment, but simply having a document doesn’t necessarily mean you’re fully protected or compliant.
We’ve reviewed assessments that appeared compliant at first glance but relied on generic wording, missed significant fire risks or failed to provide practical recommendations specific to the premises.
A Fire Risk Assessment should do more than satisfy a legal requirement. It should help you understand your risks, prioritise improvements and demonstrate that you’ve taken your responsibilities as the Responsible Person seriously.
Whether you’re commissioning your first assessment or reviewing an existing one, Salusphere Global provides practical, building-specific Fire Risk Assessments designed to protect people, property and your organisation.
The question isn't whether you have a Fire Risk Assessment. It's whether it would withstand scrutiny following a fire or enforcement inspection
The Illusion of Compliance
Many organisations believe they’re compliant because they have a Fire Risk Assessment. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case. A Fire Risk Assessment must be suitable and sufficient. Generic, outdated or poorly constructed assessments can leave Responsible Persons exposed to enforcement action and, more importantly, leave people at risk.
What a suitable and sufficient Fire Risk Assessment looks like
Every Salusphere Global Fire Risk Assessment is tailored to the individual premises and designed to be practical, suitable and sufficient. Rather than relying on generic templates, our reports provide building-specific observations, clear risk ratings, photographic evidence and prioritised recommendations that help Responsible Persons take informed action.

Your Legal Responsibilities
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the Responsible Person has a legal duty to ensure that a suitable and sufficient Fire Risk Assessment is carried out and kept under review.
Subsequent legislation, including the Fire Safety Act 2021 and Building Safety Act 2022, has strengthened fire safety responsibilities, placing greater emphasis on accountability, cooperation between Responsible Persons and maintaining accurate fire safety information.
Failure to comply can result in enforcement action, unlimited fines and, in the most serious cases, imprisonment.
The key question isn’t simply whether you have a Fire Risk Assessment…
It’s whether your existing assessment is suitable and sufficient.
That’s why Salusphere Global offers a FREE Fire Risk Assessment Document Review. We’ll provide an independent opinion on your existing assessment, identify any obvious gaps and explain where improvements may be required. There is no obligation to use our services.
